Doctor Willie Ong accompanied his announcement with a photo of his actual positron emission tomography (PET) scan results posted on Facebook. “Good news: Doctor Willie Ong‘s sarcoma shrinks by 60% in six weeks,” he stated in the caption, marking a dramatic turnaround in his prognosis.
Last month, Doctor Willie Ong bravely disclosed to the public the discovery of a 16-centimeter mass located behind his heart, a condition deemed ‘inoperable’ by medical professionals. Reflecting on the severity of his initial diagnosis, Doctor Willie Ong described his case as seemingly “hopeless and terminal,” suggesting he was facing imminent danger. “Well, apparently not for my case,” he added, highlighting the unexpected positive shift.
Seeking specialized treatment, Doctor Willie Ong traveled to Singapore in serious condition, aided by his brother and a patient connected to Dr. Ang Peng Tiam. Under the care of Dr. Ang Peng Tiam, a Singaporean oncologist, Doctor Willie Ong commenced treatment.
