While less flamboyant than his MCU attire, it exudes practicality and allows for unimpeded movement – crucial for a master martial artist like Wong.

- Experienced Wong Headsculpt: Current comic depictions often portray Wong as younger. This figure, however, presents a more mature, middle-aged, and experienced Wong. A wired, soft goods cape would have been a significant upgrade, especially given the increasing prevalence of wired capes even in lower-priced figure lines. This set seemed like an ideal opportunity to implement a high-quality soft goods Cape of Levitation.

- Fragile Forearm Glue: During hand swapping on Doctor Strange, the glue on the left forearm of my figure detached. The forearms are glued on, requiring caution during accessory changes. A bit of Loctite resolved the issue, but it’s worth noting.

Final Verdict: A Magical Marvel Legends Set
This Marvel Legends set is truly impressive. While both figures are excellent releases, Wong, accompanied by Bats, steals the show. It highlights the sometimes unpredictable nature of Hasbro’s multi-packs – this set is packed with extras like Bats and the Dormammu head, while other sets can feel comparatively sparse. Despite minor drawbacks like the static cape and potential forearm glue issue, this set earns a “Great and a 1/2” rating. It introduces two significant comic characters (and comic versions of existing ones) to the Marvel Legends lineup. Keep an eye out for potential Amazon sales, but even at full price, this set is a worthwhile addition for collectors. This marks the first Bats figure reviewed on this site.
