Embracing a Paperless Approach for Enhanced Efficiency: Please be aware that Dr. Q Pediatrics transitioned to a new Electronic Health Record (EHR) system on May 29, 2024, as part of our commitment to providing efficient and modern healthcare services.

For all upcoming and future visits, we kindly request that you verify your information through our streamlined preregistration process. You will receive a text message and/or email containing a secure link. Simply click on the link and follow the instructions to complete preregistration at your convenience. Should you encounter any difficulties with the link, please inform our staff upon arrival, and we will provide alternative forms to assist you. To ensure timely appointments and minimize wait times for all patients, preregistration must be completed prior to your office visit. Patients who have not completed preregistration in advance may experience delays or require rescheduling. Please note that each patient will receive their own unique preregistration link to ensure data privacy and accuracy.

To further enhance security and personalize your child’s medical record, we kindly request that you update your patient’s picture in our system. Even if your child is not present, you can easily upload a recent photo from your electronic device. Since November 1, 2020, our system allows parents and patients to upload photos directly from their phones, celebrating the unique individuality of each child. Updated pictures significantly improve patient identification and security protocols. If you prefer not to upload a photo, please inform our staff, and we will document your preference accordingly. With our recent transition to a new Electronic Medical System, updated pictures can be easily re-uploaded during your next visit.

Telehealth Services via Doxy.me for Convenient Consultations: Dr. Q Pediatrics offers convenient telehealth appointments through Doxy.me during regular office hours. Please be aware that coverage for telehealth services varies among insurance providers and policies. It is your responsibility to understand your insurance policy’s telehealth benefits. To utilize telehealth services, you will need to agree to the terms of Telehealth visits and grant the app access to your device’s camera and microphone. Once these steps are completed, we will provide you with a link to access the virtual waiting room. Patients are seen in the virtual waiting room on a first-come, first-served basis. For telehealth appointments, please have a thermometer to measure your child’s temperature and a scale to weigh your child readily available. Each patient requires a separate telehealth appointment slot to ensure focused and individualized care from Dr. Q.

For scheduling appointments, well-child exams and newborn visits are ideally scheduled in the mornings and early afternoons, though we do offer appointment slots throughout the day to accommodate various schedules. Sick visits are scheduled after appropriate triage, typically in the late mornings or afternoons, ensuring timely care for urgent needs.
