Based in metropolitan Chicago, Doctor Charles Miller is a board-certified Obstetrician and Gynecologist, holding a Fellowship from the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. As an internationally recognized authority, Doctor Charles Miller founded The Advanced IVF Institute in 2008, a testament to his commitment to innovative fertility treatments. In 2023, The Advanced IVF Institute became part of the prestigious CCRM Fertility Network, further expanding its reach and resources. Dr. Miller’s journey in medicine began with his graduation from the Honors Program in Medical Education at Northwestern University, followed by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology at the renowned University of Texas Southwestern Medical School, Parkland Memorial Hospital. He served as president of the AAGL (formerly the American Association of Gynecologic Laparoscopists) in 2008, the largest global organization dedicated to advancing minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. His global influence continued as president of the ISGE (International Society for Gynecologic Endoscopy) from 2011 to 2013. In recognition of his exceptional service and contributions, Dr. Miller was honored as the Honorary Chair of the AAGL in 2022.
Currently, Doctor Charles Miller holds the position of Director of Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery and has directed the Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery Program at Advocate Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge, IL since 2010. He is also the current president of the Foundation of the AAGL and a faculty member within the Clinical Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine and Immunology at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science.
