Board-certified in vascular surgery, her expertise encompasses a broad spectrum of vascular conditions, including cerebrovascular disease, aortic aneurysm and dissection, and peripheral vascular disease. Beyond her clinical practice, Dr. Erben is actively involved in comparative effectiveness research, quality improvement initiatives, and dedicated efforts to eliminate healthcare disparities, particularly concerning cardiovascular diseases and women’s health.
Her commitment to medicine began at Goethe University Frankfurt, Germany, where she earned her medical degree. Dr. Erben’s pursuit of surgical excellence led her to Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, where she completed both a general surgery residency and a specialized vascular surgery fellowship, solidifying her foundation in complex surgical procedures.
