Dr. Doug Ross brings a wealth of experience and a strong academic background to St. Joseph’s. He holds a Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, showcasing a foundation in analytical and systematic thinking. Furthering his education, Dr. Ross earned his Doctor of Medicine from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, demonstrating his dedication to the medical field. His hands-on training was solidified during his residency in emergency medicine at the University of South Carolina School of Medicine in Columbia, equipping him with crucial skills in fast-paced, critical environments. Beyond his formal education, Dr. Doug Ross is actively involved in the wider professional and community landscape, serving on the boards of numerous organizations. His contributions have been recognized with accolades such as being named Administrator of the Year for large hospitals by the Arkansas Hospital Association, highlighting his leadership and administrative excellence.
