Doctor Quinn Cast Reunites to Celebrate Joe Lando’s 60th Birthday

The beloved cast of Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman recently delighted fans with a heartwarming reunion. Jane Seymour, the iconic star of the historical Western drama, shared photos on Instagram capturing a joyful get-together with former costars William Shockley, Jason Leland Adams, and Joe Lando. The reunion was an early celebration for Lando’s 60th birthday, which falls on Thursday.

Seymour’s Instagram post expressed her deep affection for her former colleagues. “Even after all these years they still carry me! My heart is full after spending time with these incredible humans,” she wrote, adding, “@williamshockley, Jason Adams, and I got together to get an early start on celebrating Joe’s big birthday! 60’s just around the corner!” The photos show the cast members beaming, clearly enjoying their time together.

William Shockley also shared a touching tribute to Joe Lando on Instagram, highlighting their enduring friendship that began during their Dr. Quinn days. “Happy Birthday to Joe Lando … my dear friend, my brother, my comrade-in-arms during our epic years spent together on ‘Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman,'” Shockley wrote. He further reflected on the lasting value of their bond, stating, “And now almost 30 years later … I know more than ever … the greatest gift in life is the time that we share together. This recent gathering isn’t the first time the Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman cast has reunited, showcasing the strong bonds formed during the show’s successful six-season run from 1993 to 1998. In June 2020, a larger group including Chad Allen, Shawn Toovey, Alley Mills, and others, participated in a Zoom reunion for Entertainment Weekly, fondly reminiscing about their experiences on the popular series.
