Doctors Care, South Carolina’s leading urgent care provider, has officially opened its newest urgent and family care center in Lexington, SC, reinforcing its commitment to the health and well-being of the Lexington community. This advanced medical facility replaces the previous downtown Lexington location, offering enhanced services and greater convenience for patients in Lexington County.
Dr. Thomas Gibbons, Chief Medical Director of Doctors Care, emphasized the center’s role in meeting the growing healthcare demands of Lexington. “Doctors Care has proudly served South Carolina for 35 years, delivering quality and convenient urgent care, family care, and employer health services,” Dr. Gibbons stated. “This new Lexington center exemplifies our ongoing dedication to these core values. We are thrilled to expand our services and better serve the expanding Lexington community as more families choose to call this area home.”
The new Doctors Care Lexington West is strategically situated in front of the Publix Super Market at Hendrix Crossing on U.S. 378, ensuring easy accessibility for residents. The spacious 6,500-square-foot facility is equipped with multiple exam rooms, a trauma room, an on-site laboratory, and X-ray capabilities, allowing for comprehensive and efficient patient care. Adding to the integrated healthcare offerings at this location, Progressive Physical Therapy is set to open within the same building on February 15th.
