Solomon doctor’s strong academic foundation began with a B.A. in Psychology from Queens College in 1997, followed by a D.O. degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2002. She completed her pediatric residency at Infants and Children’s Hospital of Brooklyn, Maimonides Medical Center in 2005 and a Fellowship in Pediatric Gastroenterology at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medical Center in 2008. Further enhancing her expertise, Dr. Solomon completed the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society’s clinical training program in the same year.

Dr. Solomon is actively engaged in clinical research and education. She collaborated with Dr. Robbyn Sockolow to develop the “jelly bean test,” an innovative technique to help children swallow pills for capsule endoscopy, improving the feasibility and comfort of this diagnostic procedure for young patients.
